TYPES OF CUT/SCOOP

NO CUT/SCOOP: Tires will come as is from manufacture with no modification.

CUT ONLY: Cut only, refers to the carcass (base of tire) only. No work is done to the lugs of the tire on this style cut. Cut only, is great for someone looking to remove 9-11lbs per tire, while retaining a sturdy lug. This cut also has less "slinging" of terrain compared to other cuts. The side wall is only cut halfway down on this service.

CUT & SCOOPED: The most popular style, the cut/scoop has been the go-to style for its weight savings, while modifying the lug in a more "Scoop" style. This style generally removes 2-3lbs less weight over the "Cut Only" style. The scoop effect is perceived as allowing better clean out, and paddling effect. This sidewall is only cut halfway down on this service.

CUT & PADDLE LUGS: A slightly newer service, this style takes the lug of the tire and cuts it down to a more "paddle" style lug while it removes an additional 2-3lbs less weight over the "cut only" service. Gains slight lug spacing and overall weight savings. The side wall is only cut halfway down on this service. 

Max Effort Paddle: This style takes the "cut & paddle* style and shaves down the whole sidewall of the tire. Additional 2-3lbs weight removal over the "cut/scoop and cut/paddle lugs" services. All other cuts only receive half of the side wall being modified. This style will net the most weight savings but is also considered a "race" style cut. Overall, the whole tire on this service modified overall.
